For years, I have tried to make our living room more welcoming for guests and family, and adding a bar cart might be precisely what we need.

So I bought one!

My approach to styling the bar cart assumes we will use it, so I needed to leave space on the top shelf to mix drinks!

As much as I would like it to look pretty all the time, this is a rare time when function is just as important as fashion!

We hosted our dinner club, and to make it easy, I served a potluck.

Today, I am sharing some of my favorite potluck recipes.

Since most of my time was spent setting up the table in our backyard, I knew my cooking time was limited.

So I made the two main dishes, and everyone else brought the rest.
