Decorating a mantel for Christmas is always fun to do. I love that the fireplace is usually the center of the room and adding decor to the mantel makes it even more of a focal point. You will see from the photos below of the mantels decorated by my blogger friends, there are a lot of different ways to add Christmas mantel decor.
I decorated the mantel in our master bedroom by adding green and red faux greens. I am using a lot of berries in my decor this year and I love how it turned out.
As you can see in the closeup photo above, I used three different types of frosted red berries and lots of different types of greenery.
I pulled out all of my Christmas greens and was able to decorate the mantel with things I already owned. I call that “shopping your own home”.
This is what I started with. This mantel was pretty boring and in need of lots of color!
When I decorate a mantel I focus on three different areas. They are the two outside edges and the middle. Note the direction the greens are facing. I start by placing greens in these areas and then continue “filling in “.
What a difference the red berries make!
I love that there is a focal point in the center of the mantel. I think it creates a great balance with the greenery.
Also, I always hang the stockings on the right side of the mantel. I don’t know why, but they just looks more aesthetically pleasing on the right side.
Here are the other 34 mantels that my friends put together. Aren’t they incredible?

I love how you incorporated existing items from your home to create a beautiful and personal Christmas mantel display. The use of red berries and greenery really adds a festive touch without needing to buy new decor. It’s inspiring to see how you focused on key areas to make the mantel feel cohesive and lively.
Your Christmas mantel looks fantastic! I especially love the way you’ve incorporated natural elements like pinecones and garland. It brings a touch of the outdoors in, which feels so cozy for the holidays.
