Last night was truly magical. ⁣ ⁣ I hosted a d

Last night was truly magical. ⁣ ⁣ I hosted a dinner party for our family in our backyard in an area adjacent to our pool.⁣ ⁣ And after living in our home for twenty years I cannot believe that we have never dined out here. ⁣ ⁣ All it took was moving a bit of furniture and hanging some lights!⁣ ⁣ Hello! What were we thinking?⁣ ⁣ In fact, this dinner party for our family went so well we have decided to leave the table here as well as the hanging lights. ⁣ ⁣ We dined at the table and laughed and enjoyed great food. Then we moved around the fire pit and had an amazing time. ⁣ ⁣ The kids loved it and a few said it was their favorite dinner party ever. ⁣ ⁣ I can’t wait to share all of the details. Watch for a blog post in the next couple of days with my complete DIY.

Here is the after and before of my table for tonight’s dinner party. ⁣ ⁣ It’s still a work in progress but I am really excited. I hope my husband, sons, and daughter in law are just as excited. This is going to be so much fun!⁣ ⁣ We will be sitting down to dinner in four hours which gives me plenty of time to cook the meal! Yikes! I can’t believe I still have to cook everything. ⁣ ⁣ Plus I still have to get my “cupcake liner pool floats” ready. ⁣ ⁣ You can catch up on today’s progress in my stories. ⁣ ⁣ I cannot wait to see what this looks like tonight when it gets dark!
