Dining at a restaurant on Valentine’s Day is tough. The crowds, wait times and bad service are not fun. Most years my husband and I choose to dine at home. Which means I am always trying to come up with recipes to make our Valentine’s dinner special. Tonight I made a Fig, Gorgonzola and Chicken Ravioli with Brown Butter Sauce. I cooked a few portions of ravioli with the sauce so I could taste my recipe. Since I made up the recipe, I thought a taste test might be important. Fortunately, it was fantastic!
Valentine’s Day is less than a week away but it’s still not too late to get creative! I had a lot of fun creating crafts and recipes for this special day and I wanted to share them with you one last time. There is something about Valentine crafts and I am so excited to offer some last minute Valentine’s Day crafts.
It’s time for another Three Ingredients Challenge. Seven of us are sharing projects today. The three ingredients are fabric, paint, and trim. I have been so excited to share my painted fabric pillow with you as I love how it came out!
Even though I have made a lot of Valentine crafts this year, I still like simple decor. So far this season I made hand stitched hearts, a succulent heart wreath, silver metallic clay hearts, and a Valentine wooden flower crate (covered in paper napkins). I like subtle decor that offers a slight hint of the holiday. I like a light touch of holiday decor and today’s craft is exactly that. Today I am sharing a simple Valentine Heart garland that I made out of scrapbook paper. I love how it looks on my vintage white windows. And it was incredibly easy (as in no cutting!) because I used a hole punch.
I love making Valentine Crafts. If you follow my blog then you know I have made quite a few Valentine crafts this past month. These silver metallic clay hearts were inspired by vintage metal heart shaped lockets. I thought it might be fun to make something similar.
