Yum! Strawberries are fresh and plentiful so it makes sense I would be part of a blog hop featuring some really fabulous strawberry recipes! Today I am sharing my Strawberry Crumble Recipe and all of my boys will gladly state how good these muffins really are! It’s a good thing I was able to get some good photos before they started to disappear.
Today I am going to share with you what happens behind closed doors in our home. Just so you know, I am referring to my kitchen cabinet doors! The problem with Instagram is that pictures make everything look “perfect in our home. But in real life, there is often a mess behind the camera and disorganized cabinets behind the doors. My kitchen cabinets have gotten way out of control and today I am going to share with you how I organized the kitchen. I partnered with The Container Store on this project but please know all words, reviews, and opinions are mine.

Many of you are aware that I have been sick for the past three weeks. I have had a horrible cough and I am so tired of this cold! I am determined to start some serious spring cleaning in our home because a good, deep spring clean-up is what I need to create a healthier home. I started by stocking up on three of my favorite cleaning products: Viva® Multi-Surface Cloth™, Viva® Signature Cloth™ and Clorox® Clean-Up® + Bleach Spray. You probably know that the theme for my blog this month is Comfort. I have been trying to add hygge to our home. If you aren’t familiar with hygge, it’s a Danish word pronounced “who-gah” which is a mood of coziness and comfort with feelings of wellness and comfort. Hygge is about finding comfort in your decor, in your style and in the food you enjoy. When it comes to comfort food, pasta is the first thing that comes to mind. And there is nothing better than finding hygge with comfort food. Especially when it is homemade Carbonara and Ravioli.
Our Christmas party is in five days. And yes, I do cook all of the food. Our party is a big event, and it has grown in every aspect over the last thirty years. We invite all of our friends and family (and their children if they are friends with our children) and I cook all of the food. For about 200 people. And no, I am not a caterer. I just know how to plan a party. Today I can’t wait to share my biggest tip with you.
