I am so excited to be part of an incredible Easy Summer Styling Blog Tour. Sixteen ladies (plus me) are part of this group and I must say, holy cow! There are some really great ideas and beautiful photos included in all of these blog posts. So please be sure to check them out!
Before we get started, I want to thank Kelly from The Tattered Pew for putting together this amazing group. She has worked so hard to make this happen and we could not have done this without her.
Hopefully you just came from the beautiful blog post by my friend Karan at Designs By Karan. She is so talented!
One of my favorite things about Instagram is finding inspiration. There are so many creative and talented people in our community and I am always finding fabulous ideas to try in my own home. In fact, I have some really big projects I tried in my family room that were inspired by my two favorite Instagram feeds (which will be shared soon, I promise!)
When it comes to having chairs and sofas redone, there are usually two choices, slipcover or reupholster.
Either will give you a lovely end result – a new outside garment for a piece of solid furniture. But how do you decide between slipcover or upholster? It’s important to consider use, the condition of the furniture piece and cost.
I love the look of Liz Marie Galvin’s slipcovers
I took a small hiatus with Design Inspirations, but today I’m back with another one… and boy is it a good one! Enter Laura of @the.simple.farmhouse. Her home is the definition of light, bright and white! But what I love about Laura’s home the most is that she stays slightly off the beaten path as it pertains to farmhouse. One detail here or there really shows her style which is kind of rare these days! Laura, I love your home!
Today’s design inspiration is Caroline from Town and Country Style! Her gorgeous home speaks for itself, but allow me to fawn over it!
