Yes. I am a Snob.

Ok. It’s confession time. I am a snob about a few things in my life. I like really good coffee. I am obsessed with Apple products. And I only shop with really cool shopping bags. Don’t ask me why I care so much about my shopping bags but I am a total bag snob.

When my husband was mayor of our town (South Pasadena) I use to joke that all it meant was I had to shower and put on makeup before I went to the market. But looking good is all about having the right market bags. And can you believe how fabulous these bags are?

I recently I found these new market totes from The Farmhouse Project and I am obsessed.

These market totes are perfect. I love the art that is featured on the side of the bag and I think these vegetables are wonderful. These totes are a trendy, farmhouse style and just about the coolest bags I own. They are made from a very sturdy canvas and have very strong handles. And these just aren’t ordinary market totes. These are so well made and I know they are going to last a very long time. In Southern California, we need to bring our own bags to just about everywhere we shop so these will be with me in my house and in my car. I intend to use them for all of my shopping.

I love The Farmhouse Project and I have to tell you about Shawn and Kris, who are the gentlemen behind this wonderful company. The farmhouse project is the brainchild of two “boys” from the big city – a designer/artist (the perfectionist) and a doctor (the free spirit) – who decided to unplug and embark on the project of a lifetime; historically renovating a 216-year-old farmhouse in the Catskills. A little bit Green Acres, a little bit HGTV Dream Home…on a budget. These are my kind of people!

Believe it or not, the bags are made in New York and screen printed by Shawn and Kris in their barn! How amazing is that?

These bags measure 25″w x 17h (21″h with handles) x 7″d. They are also perfect for the beach and weekend trips.

The Farmhouse Project is offering all of you a 20% discount! The offer starts Friday morning and runs through Saturday. Use the coupon code: FARMHOUSE. You can order here.

Sometimes it’s a good thing to be a snob when you find something as cool as this!

I also received some candles with my market totes. I styled them on my favorite vintage piece in our home .. my general store counter.

And I love the scents of these candles! They are Forest, Tobacco Lavender, and Hygge. And they smell fabulous! The candles are hand poured in New York and the adorable bags are screen printed by Kris and Shawn in their barn as well. Go to The Farmhouse Project to learn more!

January is all about comfort and these candles are definitely the way to add comfort to your home.
