Spending a week in Waco was fabulous. But coming home is always amazing. I had a few projects to tackle today and the first was to restyle my entryway. Of course, that meant I had to unload the flea market items from my car. Perhaps I should mention they have been there for over two weeks. Oh, my.
I was so fortunate to be able to attend both the Rose Bowl Flea Market and the Long Beach Flea Market these past two weekends. I love shopping at flea markets, and my favorite part is styling them in my home. Read More
After spending way too much time at home (on crutches), I finally ventured out this past weekend to two fabulous flea markets. On Saturday I went to the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Flea market and on Sunday I went to the Ventura Flea Market. I am really excited to share today my vintage finds and my plans for using them in my home!Read More
My friend Judy from @vintagejunktionla stopped by our home today. If you aren’t familiar with Vintage Junktion LA, then you need to be. Judy has a warehouse in East Los Angeles which is like the Rose Bowl Flea market all under one roof. She has great merchandise and wonderful prices and I love visiting her warehouse. I have purchased many items (pictured in the photo above) from her warehouse including the trunk I used for my living room coffee table, vintage books, wicker and wood table and white milk jug in my living room. I also purchased all of my vintage books and this green box I use to store my quilts.
I think I need to do a better job sharing my purchases for our home. I always share videos on Instagram Stories of my flea market shopping trips but I always forget to share photos of everything I bought. So today I am going to start a new series called My Finds This Week so I can show what I bought this past weekend and where it was styled in our home.
I have to admit I have been freaked out with deadlines lately. I have a lot of blog posts and brand rep posts to complete in the next few months and they have been causing me a lot of stress.
