This is part three of my story about creating a magical engagement party. Today I am going to share how I added decor to my outdoor dining room. My goal for the engagement party was to create a beautiful California Hamptons environment that was relaxed and fun. In truth, this was probably my favorite part of creating this wonderful party.
This has been the summer of entertaining. We have hosted a lot of dinner parties and I couldn’t be happier! I should probably admit how much I love to entertain. For over twenty years we have held our annual Christmas party and I still make all of the food, even though we now have over two hundred people who attend.
It’s time to host my girlfriends for a summer get-together. I am so excited to partner with Balsam Hill to create the perfect setting for a summer celebration. These copper items totally reformed our back patio and don’t be surprised if you see them out here well in to fall! OK, maybe even winter!
I think that now that Memorial Day has passed, it’s summertime. Right? I think this means it is time to kick off the outdoor entertaining season at our home. And the best way to do that is to share my favorite recipes for outdoor entertaining.
Do You Need a Bar Cart?
Can I just tell you how much I love our bar cart? I think it adds sophistication to our family room. And it’s not like we drink that much. I just think a bar cart looks very festive. And when we entertain, it’s great to have everything right where we need it for entertaining. Why not set up your own summer bar cart?
