FIND OF THE WEEK // Soap Bottles
Many years ago, Martha Stewart came up with the idea of storing everyday dish soap in a pretty glass bottle. I saw this idea twenty-five years ago in Martha Stewart Living Magazine and I’ve been a convert ever since.
I have used these bottles forever and I just love how much nicer this looks! Some people use stoppers on the bottles but I think it takes way too long for the soap to dispense. As they say, you should choose fashion over function, every time!
It can be kind of difficult to find the perfect glass bottle for this, but since they’re so inexpensive, I just buy them as I find them and change them out if needed. You can find them online, thrift them or find them in small boutiques. I tend to find them when I’m not expecting it, which is always a fun treat!

Ok, why haven’t I thought of this?! I hate seeing that plastic bottle on my countertop!! And it doesn’t matter if you hide it in a cupboard, it’s always coming back out and sitting there once again. I’m so doing this!!! Thank you!

Ditto, been going that for years after seeing Martha Stewart but will have to try without the stopper.

But doesn’t the soap start solidifying if you don’t use a stopper?
It hasn’t for me… maybe try it out and see? Or maybe I just use it super fast! ha!
I wonder if one of those oil dispenser tops would work well in this scenario? Help to reduce the amount of soap that comes out so you don’t accidentally waste it and prevent a giant spill should it get knocked over?
I am loving the look of this though. Amazingly simple solution to a problem I didn’t even realize I had ha ha!
