Deck the Halls in the Family Room

| |

Decorating our family room for the holidays was so much fun. I think the red has made such a difference in this room. And I am not sure if we will have to wait for valentines day for it to reappear! I mean those pillows aren’t even from Christmas!

I love the red, white and green traditional colors. And the plaid is wonderful. I saw it in every store I visited! The traditional colors are so easy and just worked in this room. If you recall, I used green and white in our living room and I am really happy with how it came out. But I really love how well the red mixed in the family room.

I went with a plaid, burlap and cotton theme. And if you recall, everything from this table was purchased at Hobby Lobby.

I also had fun decorating our bookshelves. I used all of the vintage Shiny Bright Christmas ball boxes and I love them on the shelves. And the red, white and green beverage crates are from one of my favorite vendors, @throughtheporthole.

It’s funny how the green walls in the kitchen enhance my Christmas theme!

I love how well the touches of red and green work so well in this room.

  1. Beautiful home! What color is your paint? I am trying to find the perfect warm grey/tan paint color. Thank you!
